    Monday 25th September

The group safely arrived and explored the hostel and their dormitories. Following their packed lunches, they all set off to enjoy an afternoon filled with orienteering, problem-solving and high ropes in the glorious sunshine.

    Tuesday 26th September

Everyone is having a great time on their second day at Grenville after a good night’s sleep was had by all. This morning the Year 6s enjoyed caving, raft building and indoor climbing. This afternoon the groups are going to participate in high ropes, indoor climbing and problem solving. They are all having a fun time with some lovely September weather!

    Wednesday 27th September

Yesterday, in the evening, the children chose to either go on a walk around the harbour, play football or table tennis or engage in some games like Dobble and Uno before bedtime. Following a good sleep, the group were involved in caving, abseiling or orienteering this morning and this afternoon they were off to enjoy the high ropes, abseiling and team building. The weather is still being kind; mainly dry with some light rain but little wind!

    Thursday 28th September

Good day today and decent weather for our activities.  A very good night’s sleep – think the children are getting tired!
They have been caving, abseiling, coasteering, indoor climbing and orienteering today.  Looking forward to coming home tomorrow to tell you all about our week.
Lots of fun had by all!

    Wednesday 26 April

Everyone loved The Lion King last night and after a good sleep they enjoyed their youth hostel breakfast before embarking on their Westminster walking tour. The tour was a great success as they saw the changing of the guard and were fortunate to see the horses and drummers practising beforehand. After that, they wandered through St James’ Park where they spotted parakeets. They have just finished their picnic lunch and were waiting to board the coach at the point of the update.

    Tuesday 25 April

The children had a lovely morning; following breakfast at the youth hostel they had an exciting tube journey across London to the Shrek Experience which was great fun. After that they soared high on the London Eye and enjoyed the views over the capital city. Following this, they took advantage of the wonderful sunshine and enjoyed their packed lunches in Jubilee Park. Currently they are on their way by tube to the Natural History Museum which will be followed by an Italian feast at Bella Italia. Miss Barrett reports that everyone is having a great time and spirits are high!

    Monday 24 April

The group arrived safely at Harry Potter Studios and had their lunch before embarking in their tour of the studios. They then explored the Great Hall and a range of sets and costumes which were on display. Everyone was happy and excited. After leaving Harry Potter, they travelled to the youth hostel where they all enjoyed their McDonald’s takeaway and settled down in their rooms for the night.

An Update From Mr Wilding Monday 5 December

They have safely arrived in Brixham, unpacked, made their beds and enjoyed their packed lunches. The children are all going coasteering this afternoon and they were excited to spot seals in the Brixham Harbour.

An Update From Mr Wilding Tuesday 6 December

The children enjoyed the coasteering yesterday and they all slept well last night. Today they have enthusiastically participated in caving, high ropes and abseiling activities. Although the weather is a little chilly, it has fortunately been dry and bright.

An Update From Mr Wilding Wednesday 7 December

Everyone is well and feeling refreshed after an extra hour’s sleep last night! More children completed the caving and abseiling activities today and we also enjoyed some indoor climbing. Everyone is in good spirits and having fun.

An update from Mr Wilding Thursday 8 December

The children are continuing to have a good time and took part in the activities that they were yet to complete.  Weather has remained dry and bright.  We have been extremely impressed with the perseverance shown from them!

An update from Miss Foote Friday 9 December

Yesterday evening, some children went on a walk to listen out for the seals, some played football and others enjoyed a movie night.  The week has come to an end and we have enjoyed a big breakfast ready for our final activity today.  We’ve wrapped up warmly as we take on the high ropes and orienteering this morning.
