    27.09.2021: Please find below an update from Mr Roberts:
    The group arrived to a down pour but it didn’t dampen their spirits! They were soon making up their beds and keen to start the day’s activities. Today’s groups are split between orienteering, caving and indoor climbing and are due back before 5pm. The weather here is now glorious.

    The group enjoyed a morning of fun activities in the wonderful sunshine including coast-steering and abseiling. Despite the persistent rain this afternoon, the children have still participated in a range of exciting activities including problem-solving and raft building. Everyone is eating well and full of high spirits!

    Everyone has had a fabulous day in the English Riviera sunshine, enjoying some amazing views of the coastline around Brixham. After a good night’s sleep, the children have engaged in a range of impressive activities including indoor climbing, abseiling, caving and coast-steering and are looking forward to another fun-filled day tomorrow!

    Despite the unkind weather, the children have had another action packed day filled with high ropes, caving, raft building in Brixham harbour, abseiling on Berry Head and indoor climbing. They are all a bit soggy, but still smiling!

    Woodwater Academy is seeking to appoint a permanent, part-time teacher from September 2021, initially to be based in lower key stage 2, working 0.66 FTE Mon-Weds with additional PPA time. Woodwater Academy is a member of Ventrus, a group of 15 Devon schools who actively work together on improving pupils’ outcomes collaboratively and actively supporting its staff.
